Abstract
Points of Departure is an exhibition of paintings, printmaking and photography which was installed at the Sayle Gallery, Isle of Man: March 3rd - April 3rd 2016. This exhibition features forty artworks, which examine ideas of place shaped via a series of journeys and travels undertaken by the artist.

The exhibition also included the use of found images as well as artworks loaned from the Grosvenor Museum in Chester. The works in the exhibition span a period of thirty years. The research is ongoing and the different strands of Quayle's practice featured in the exhibition are distinct in their own right and in some cases still in development as work in progress.
